Fashion Show

On Thursday I went to the Isolated Heroes Film Launch and Fashion Show! Click here to go to their shop on Asos Marketplace. Isolated Heroes is run by a girl named Samantha Mcewan. Her stuff is really fun and is inspired my 90's club scene - you wont find anything like it anywhere else!

So, first of all my initial thought was "What do you wear to a fashion show?". So I decided to go kind of casual. This is what I came up with...
Outfit
Top - Custom top by me
Skirt - Topshop
Jewellery - New look

So the show consisted of a fashion show - with some pole dancers dancing at the same time - and the film launch! I took some of my own photographs of the models and the pole dancers who were all wearing outfits by Isolated Heroes.

These bottom two photos were not taken by me,
they were off the Isolated Heroes facebook page.

The brilliant artist who created the wonderful make-up designs for the show is Jillian Elizabeth Crabb! She is actually one of my good friends and when she saw me walking through the door she took full advantage of me..
I actually love the lipstick! Click here to go to Jillians make-up facebook page!
And finally, the professional photographs and the film were done by Ross Mclean! He is an amazing photographer and here is a link to his page!

So tell me what you think! Do you like the clothes and make-up? What would you of worn to a fashion show? Tell me your thoughts!

Sunday 14 October 2012

its cold outside..

Winter. I don't know about the rest of the world but here in Scotland it is coming in very fast! Therefore, recently I have been buying some new winter clothes to keep me cosy! I have also found a couple of my old favourites from winters past. Here's a look into my winter wardrobe..

Old and not so great photo but still wooly tights! Seriously if your wanting to wear a skirt in winter - wooly tights are the way to go.

Two hats that i loved last year from River Island which were so cossy! Cosy enough that I went back and bought them! (Above and below)

I've had these boots for a few years now and they are just brilliant! No water coming in, no cold coming in and they have padded soles which make them super comfy!

My new jumper from Tesco. This jumper is so warm, it really is my winter must! I wear it all the time and bonus! It has a really cute pattern on it!

My friends and I in Edinburgh Zoo freezing our butts off! But we did all remember our winter clothes!

New jacket that I got from Matalan. Super cosy and I love it!

So this is me today. Ready to bear the bitter coldness of the outside world!
Outfit:
Jumper: Tesco
Coat: Matalan
Jeans: Tommy Hilfiger at TK Maxx
Shoes: Vans

Are you getting prepared for winter? What are your must haves? Tell me!
